FORUM ACTIVITIES

Plett Environmental Forum members engage in a number of projects and activitites. These include among other:

• “Hands on” activities like AIS removal in the Klein Piesang Valley Park
• Organizing outreach and information events on environmental topics
• Engage in strategic planning and discussion around specific environmental challenges in our area

Individual Forum members also serve as advisors to municipal bodies which evaluate development proposals in the Bitou region, and as consultants on Environmental Monitoring committees of some of the private estates in and around Plettenberg Bay.
